Game viewing, photography, nature walk, sightseeing, birding and cultural visits.
Nairobi – Transfer to Maasai Mara (Approx. 5 hours)
You will be picked by our tour guide/driver from your hotel or airport at 6.30 a.m.Depart for Mara immediately to arrive for lunch at the lodge. Later have game drive at 3p.m. till 6p.m.
Zebra Plain luxury tented rooms are furnished for a comfortable stay whilst visiting the Maasai Mara. Maasai Mara – Full day
Spend this day with a full-day game drive in search of the big five and many other wildlife that inhabits these beautiful savannah plains. There will be picnic lunch on the banks of Mara River.
Maasai Mara, also known as Masai Mara, and locally simply as The Mara, is a large national game reserve in Narok, Kenya, contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It is named in honor of the Maasai people, the ancestral inhabitants of the area, who migrated to the area from the Nile Basin. Their description of the area when looked at from afar: ”Mara” means ”spotted” in the local Maasai language, due to the many short bushy trees which dot the landscape.
