  1. Full Day Arrival at Location

After breakfast start, you’re walking tour around the tea plantation. The tea plantation around Tigoni makes for scenic and enjoyable walks. Undulating trails wind through the tea, small settlements, and past dams and reservoirs.

Pay a visit to the school I studies, Limuru Primary school.  Take a walk down to the river and trek along the tea plantation.  Back to the camp for lunch.  After lunch drive to Kiambethu tea farm for another tour.  Upon arrival at Kiambethu tea farm get a cup of tea or coffee.  The history of the farm and process of making tea will be explained, followed by an opportunity to see tea in the filled.  Then take a walk in the indigenous forest with our resident Kenya guide who will identify the plants and explain how they are traditionally used.  Look out for the colobus monkeys and wonder in the gardens which are open to a wide variety of birds and flowers.  Return to the house to enjoy a pre-lunch drink on the veranda with a beautiful view of Ngong hills.  Enjoy your three-course buffet lunch prepared at Kiambethu farm.
